Vapor Line Lineman Belt

A good lineman belt keeps you secure while you climb and set up, and the Latitude VAPOR LINE Lineman Belt is built for exactly that kind of mobile hunting. It’s one of the first rope lines designed from the ground up for saddle hunting, so it’s compact, tough, and ready for wet weather.

It ships fully rigged with two premium carabiners, so it clips onto both hips of your harness quickly. It’s set up for one-handed adjustment, which means you can keep one hand on your sticks or the tree while you dial in your position. The lineman belt uses the same rope construction as the VAPOR LINE Tree Tether but comes in a different color. When you carry both in the same pouch, you can tell them apart at a glance in low light.

Inside is a proprietary Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene core that is stronger than steel pound for pound, won’t soak up water, and floats. The outer sheath is tightly woven, high-tenacity polyester that stands up to UV and abrasion and sheds water naturally. Your rope dries out faster after a wet hunt, and your hitch cord slides and grips smoothly.

The 7mm size is the most compact option in the VAPOR LINE family, so it takes up very little space in a pouch. Like every VAPOR LINE rope, it’s third-party tested for minimum breaking strength, elongation, diameter, and knot-ability. Testing follows Cordage Institute (CI) 1801-07 standards, referenced by ASTM 2116, for low-stretch static kernmantle life safety rope.
