The Latitude VAPOR LINE Tree Tether comes from one of the first rope lines designed from the ground up for saddle hunting. Mobile hunting is hard on ropes. Constant packing, climbing, and wet weather wear them out quickly. VAPOR LINE ropes are built to hold up to that while packing down smaller and lighter than standard options.
The core is a proprietary blend of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, a material that is stronger than steel pound for pound. It won’t absorb water, and it even floats. Around the core is a tightly woven, high-tenacity polyester sheath that resists UV and abrasion, sheds water naturally, and dries quickly after a rainy sit. The tight weave also lets your hitch cord adjust smoothly and easily.
The 7mm is the most compact tether in the VAPOR LINE lineup, so it’s a good fit for hunters who want to cut every ounce and inch from their system. It’s easy to pack, easy to pull out of a pouch, and ships fully rigged with a premium carabiner for one-handed operation right out of the package.
VAPOR LINE ropes are third-party tested for minimum breaking strength, elongation, diameter, and knot-ability. Testing follows Cordage Institute (CI) 1801-07 standards, referenced by ASTM 2116, for low-stretch static kernmantle life safety rope.
